I'M MATILDA!
I am a 24-year old AI&T Engineer living in Toronto, Canada looking to make my mark in the space world! I am focused on seeking domestic and global opportunities that will challenge me to conquer my fears and increase my knowledge and perspective. MY GOALS
TRAVEL
My goal is to visit every country in the world! Travelling has made an incredible impact on who I am today, and has taught me how stepping out of your comfort zone can bring about the most thrilling and memorable experiences. Perspective is something I am adamant on developing, and I believe that by meeting people and experiencing cultures from around the world, my life's purpose truly helping others can come true.
LEARN
Time is something none of us can control. Because of this, I am seeking to learn as much as I can about the field that I am passionate about, different cultures, world issues, different people and their stories, and my own self growth. I am on a never-ending journey to improve myself and believe in the importance of asking questions and seeking guidance from mentors.
INNOVATE
I am passionate about design in the mobility industry, specifically in aerospace and automation, and am looking to be apart of the autonomous and/or sustainable energy movement. I love the idea of creating something from nothing or optimizing a design in order to make the user's life easier, safer, and a little more fun! I find the research, CADing, testing and physical implementation of a design to be such a fulfilling journey that leaves me proud of my work.
INSPIRE
My purest happiness comes from knowing I have done something to makes someone's life better. I thrive on positivity and try to make everyone around me feel more relaxed and optimistic. I hope that no matter what I do, I continue to be a positive light to others. I believe in the power of never giving up on your dream, and think that ones greatest test in life is to keep moving towards their goal no matter what obstacles they may face. You just have to believe!
